OUR COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT PROGRAM

Ever since the Enhanced Health Center opened its doors in 1999, we have committed ourselves to supporting our local community. We provide internship opportunities to high school students and to college graduates to give them a feel for the health and wellness industry. We donate our time and money to local charities and pride ourselves on supporting our community. If you are interested in a work-term practicum or if your organization is looking for support, e-mail us a request and we'll be in contact with you.

COMMENTS, TESTIMONIALS & THANK YOU LETTERS:

During my three weeks working I have learned lots of material and gained valuable experience. They taught me how to strengthen an injured body in order to release tension. While I was there I even learned I had jumper knees and what I can do to strengthen them. I would like to thank you all for teaching me, and spending your time to educate me about health issues. One more thank you for making my work experience an enjoyable one.

The career education Department and the Work Experience Students thank you, your management, and staff, for your time and patience during the length of the recent work experience.

spacerI would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for such a great work experience. I could not have asked for anywhere more enjoyable and interesting to work at! The people I worked with made everything so interesting and quite funny! I would also like to thank Shar, Nancy and all the other secretaries for showing me around and helping me out during my stay.

I came in to work the first day not knowing what I was going to really be going but everyone was so kind and really helped me out if I had any questions. Such an experience has now bettered me at my future career choices after high school. By being with all these different fields of medicine I could really understand each one much more. Thank you very much Dave for allowing me to work with your patience. They too, really helped me out with some questions I had.

Thank you all so very much! I really appreciated the opportunity to be able to work with such wonderful, interesting and funny people. Each day was different from the last (except for laundry), which kept everything exciting. I hope too someday that I'll be able to become a doctor of one of those fields of medicine (I haven't quite chosen yet). There's far too much to choose from!

Each year, thousands of our secondary student request work placements in her community.
